The dream of working in the music industry started when Joost worked as a cocktail bartender. He saw the DJ's and wanted to do that himself. But how? He started his own event and booked himself as a DJ among 4 others. "Galardo" was born. After 5 years he took a step back from the DJ scene. He red a lot about different production techniques and invested in a home studio. Because he loves the technical side of making music, he felt that he finally found what really wanted to do; Make music! From this day on he still makes music under the name Galardo. 2018 was the year were it all came together. In that year he signed music to EDM.com, Tiger Records and Spinnin Records.
