Next up on Sante's carefully cultured Avotre label is another straight-to-the-point house offering from a modern day great, in the form of Sankeys resident and Tribal Sessions main man Darius Syrossian. The hot new single comes with a great remix by fellow resident Sidney Charles and is due for release in March. Darius is someone who has been at the heart of the global house conversation for years. He has released his own unique tracks on Definition Music, Hot Creations and OFF Recordings as well as having his music licensed by the likes of Heidi and DJ Sneak, whilst of course his jacking DJ sets take him all over the world on a regular basis and find him playing to always packed out dance floors. The single here in original form, 'Su Casa' is a sweat-inducing, tense cut that stars with warm, hustling drums and classic vocal stabs. The intensity continues to be masterfully notched up before some slide and swing joins the drums and the female diva cries break free once more. Following an emotive break down and some kinetic percussive work, it's exactly the sort of track that Darius uses to lock dance floors under his spell and is sure to do so for him again all winter long. The remix comes from AVOTRE boss Sante and label mate Sidney Charles, who also recently released a full compilation of his work on the label. Their version, a '4am Rave Mix' is stripped right back to raw banging drums, a frazzled synth line and intense techno hi hats. It hits hard and leaves a big impact just like real house music should. This is more quality dance floor cuts from both Darius and the ever more essential Avotre label: miss it at your peril.
