We are very happy to welcome another new artist to our big family at Pild, Sana Music, who brought us an amazing two track ep called Rebuff EP. The first track, Rebuff, presents a slow groove and deep, but powerful, bass line that complements perfectly with the kick arrangements and creates an extremely groovy rhythm that helps pushing the percussions on a more subtle level in the backend, making a lot of room for the short vocal phrases that provides a very dark and classy vibe. The second track, Don't Stop, shows us a much techier side from this artist, but never leaving behind the underground and minimalist aura from the ep, especially with the articulations created with the percussions and the staccato synth sounds with a subtle filter applied, which gives them a nice variation each time. We also have three great remixes for this ep and one of them is Emanuele Rada, who too Rebuff and created a percussive melody between the bass line and low percussions, adding a great amount of groove to it and making this track perfect for the dance floor. Orlando Tosi also made his special Recalibration of Rebuff, but this time we got a much deeper version, yet not less energetic than the other tracks thanks to the great rhythm and strong bass line. The main deep elements are very present during the whole track like the chord-pad in the back and the stabs at the snare's tempo, which pushes the track forward. The last remix comes by the hand of Hoowell, who took Don't Stop and went apparently through minimalistic road for his remix, but it ended up with a lot deep material keeping the chords and melodies very present on his work. Definitely a very complete a vast ep with different choices to delight your ears.
