As the purveyor of all things huge, Progrezo Records continues to literally slice and dice its way through the clutter of today's techno, tech house and electronic music fodder.

The in-your-face productions sets the tone perfectly for what's to follow, and of course, we are not left disappointed; dirty bass-lines, choppy beats, mad atmospheres and carefree percussion all coming together to lead up to yet another trademarked breakdown release.

"Sumum" takes a quirkier route with bouncy best tracks and crunchy live mixing on 4 decks. However, after the twenty-four gems plays in, there is no turning back as it shifts and transforms over what was a seemingly innocent groove.

The last four years have seen Paul develop his studio skills and since 2009 he has released a steady series of tracks, often in collaboration with Antonio Vendone, which have gained increasing support. Labels include Spinnin Records, Dusted Breaks, Pony Play, USB Digital, Hollister Records and MK837, while Pauls remix of D-Reams Ill Be Your Dog came in for particular attention. Major DJ support has come from Sasha, James Lavelle, Paul van Dyk, Plump DJs, Dave Seaman, Groove Armadas Tom Findlay, Fergie, Elite Force, Alex Dolby, Jim Rivers and Rocky from X-Press 2, while Gallery resident Gavyn Mytchel has regularly played Pauls music on Ministry of Sound Radio. Excellent reviews have appeared in Mixmag, DJ mag and iDJ magazines, and Paul was the winner of the Raw Talent mix competition in iDJ.

2011 has seen Paul really get into his stride in the studio and develop a sound distinctively his own. This can be best heard in his remixes of UNKLE tracks, The Dog is Black and Heaven, with both vocal and dub versions. Its this sound that came to the attention of Tim Sheridan and led to the release of Tozer/Witchcraft on Veryverywrongindeed to substantial DJ support. The word was out and Quivver soon followed by Bloc Beatz Records. Oliver Lang has also snapped up Silent Steps and Beehive Beats, forthcoming on his Dojo Music imprint, which reflect the house side of Pauls music.

When Timo Maas and Loco Dice talks on behalf of an artist, it has enough strength within the electronic music industry to stand up and take notice, and this is the case of Gare Mat K.

Having played alongside world top DJ's including exclusive warm up parties with hand claps from John Digweed, Danny Howells, Sasha, Loco Dice, BT, Timo Maas, Stelios Vassiloudis, Danny Rampling, Sander Kleinenberg, Da Hool, Hatiras, Pole Folder and Hernan Cattaneo among others, Gare Mat K himself continues building his name within the finest electronic music industry as breakthrough artist.

Gare Mat K' releases have reached success on numerous occasions at top of charts including Beatport and Juno Records, bringing him the opportunity to be remixed by some top notch produecrs such as Alex Dolby, best Beatport' Minimal artist in 2009 Alex Young and Ben Coda among others. Groovy and atmospheric, his productions got strong support ny a wide list of biggest Djs including Sasha, Timo Maas, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Tom Pooks, Pole Folder, Anthony Pappa, Randall Jones, Flash Brothers, Eelke Kleijn, Kosmas Epsilon, Kasey Taylor and Pole Folder.

The twenty-four tracks of Sumum combine to form an imaginary journey through the musical world of the protagonists. Their output is rich and varied, for it is based on almost twenty years of highly successful musical appearing on recognized projects world over.
