Max Smith

Max Smith, born in Germany, found his love for electronic music and moving melodies at the age of 14. In 2005 he started the project "Fusion" together with his colleague Dave Baker. In 2008, their first release, the "Inspiration EP" under the label Ultimate House Records, started successfully and the track "Freakquence" climbed to #6 in the German dance charts within the first weeks. They toured throughout Germany and even planned a US tour. Their performance in Luxembourg remains unforgotten. Under his name Dj Distex, he was resident DJ at club "Underground" in Trier, Germany. After this time he concentrated on producing songs and sound design of various advertising spots and video games.
