Nobuharu Morimoto

Nobuharu Morimoto is a Tokyo-based techno artist known for his emotional, hypnotic grooves and minimalist structure. After a long hiatus from the scene, he re-emerged in 2021 with a refined sonic vision, releasing on labels such as Say What?, TUTU Records, CMND CTRL, and Diffuse Reality. His music reflects a balance between deep Detroit-inspired rhythms and Japanese aesthetics. In 2025, Morimoto will release new works on the esteemed label Unrilis, marking an exciting new chapter in his career. He also runs the YouTube channel “Morimoto Music,” where he explores global club culture through his unique perspective. Currently, he is a resident at Tokyo-based parties OUTSIDER (solfa) and plug (BRAND), delivering sets that combine club functionality with emotional storytelling.
