Mekanic’s began his career as a near novelty, but through years of maturation and re-inventing mix- tapes, he quickly gave into the life of the turntables.Whilst at a very young age, he began to steal his mother’s cassettes and thus started to perform in front of crazed audience of toy soldiers and teddy bears!At 11, he discovered New Beat ... and this was a revelation to him and the beginning of a long story.In the late 1990s, he joined the members of Orbital Space, and started to mix in party, gaining in popularity without knowing where his passion would bring him.Renowned amidst the circle of electronic nights for the past 15 years, he has performed with a lot of internationals artists such as Anthony Rother, Paul Kalkbrenner, Agoria, Vitalic, Miss Kittin, Umek, Marco Carola, Adam Beyer, Joris Voorn... to name but a few!The essence of his mixes are very minimal, groovy & electro with a combination of energy and sensuality.Always interested by musical production, he decided to work in his new home-studio and put his heart into making his own sound. As a result, he quickly released his first single ‘Geonosis’ and signed by Amazone Records – Including artist like Perc, Tom Hades, Audio Injection, Electric Rescue, Axel Karakasis, Submerge amongst many more.Currently Mekanic’s is working on several new sounds and the journey is just beginning....
