He is well known forhis particularly funky use of Roland’s sh101 analog synth,and for his particularly emotional and personal melodies andharmonies.There is no doubt that after more than 20 years of teachinghimself production processes, complex midi programmingand harmonies, Fabrice’s sound is unique and veryrecognisable among the thousands of weekly technoreleases.Demonstrations of his skills appear on the crème de lacrème of electronic music labels such as KMS (KevinSaunderson) , Planet-e (Carl Craig), Submerge, R&S, T hirdEar, 7th City Records (Dan Bell), F-Communications (LaurentGarnier) , Versatile, Classic, Compost, Subject Detroit,Motech, Raygun, Playhouse Records, Kanzleramt (HeikoLaux), 70 Drums (Ken Ishii), Clone, Trapez ltd and soon….An exceptional discography into mythic labels, into thehistory of electronic music.By the end of 1998, after his first DJ and productionexperiences, under the Interwaves and Bug Orchestranicknames, Fabrice was elevated to the ranks of the Detroitmusical elite by Mad Mike himself, thanks to his classicremix of E-Dancer’s Banjo track on KMS: “Fabrice is a partof Detroit music's history by being the first white producer torecord on KMS, and the first double groove recording fromNSC”.Fabrice has built a solid discography and reputation,confirmed by his reknowned appearances at the world’sbest clubs & festivals such as Panorama Bar-Berlin, Fabric -London, Womb-Tokyo, Detroit - Fuse-In Festival, Fuse -Brussels, Loft - Barcelona, Sub Club - Glasgow, T he End -London, Sonar Festival, the world famous official MontreuxJazz Festival, Bourges festival (on stage with Jean-MichelJarre), to name but a few. One of the highlights of Fabrice’sdj career is the paper in the Detroit Free press where hisperformance was voted best dj set of 2005’s Detroit Fuse-inFestival. Fabrice also collaborated with and remixed many artists asLaurent Garnier, Kevin Saunderson, Agoria, DJ Hell, KenIshii, Kenny Hawkes, Rob Mello, Frederic Galliano, Chymera,Trüby Trio…After his last Soul Designer's album on Third Ear (2007),Fabrice decided to take a bit of a break from music and concentrate on some educational projects. Nevertheless, hereleased his classic Purple Raw EP on Versatile in thatperiod, as well as some EPs on R&S, Subject Detroit, .. nextto a few remixes. Over the last few months however, Fabricequietly prepared the celebration of 20 years of music byproducing a new album with the idea to make a strong“come back” with fresh material for late 2014.And when Carl Craig first heard "Galactic Soul Odysseys",he instantly decided to invite Fabrice to join Planet E'sprestigious family. Once again, Fabrice’s work is enteringmusic’s history through one of the most respected labels inthe techno community.
