Bulgarian producer D-Trax first appeared on Spherax well over a year ago for the label's 13th overall release 'Memories Will Fade' by Russian producer Anton Sever. D-Trax followed that up with his warm housy interpretation of En-Core's 'Right Back' and a storming remix of 'Move and Groove' by Q.U.A.K.E. Vs Osher. Spherax's 56th release sees D-Trax returning to the label and teaming up with Wallie for 'Phaedra' which comes with remixes from: G-Low, 21street and Nicox.

The original mix hits hard with an enormous acid bass line, ultra clean processing and an infectious club groove. Metallic hits, growling synths and escalating tensions lead towards the main drop. Here a spooky vocal pad with a long wail in introduced along with a grinding synth line that builds dramatically before the whole bottom end drops out and the punishing beats come crashing down for that big dance floor moment! G-Low is first up on the remixes and he's managed to up the energy levels slightly with an even greater big room feel. The bouncing electronics and metallic coated drums rip the through the atmosphere for an electric energy that leads to the break. Here the main vocal lead is dropped along with some nice effects accents which build to a dramatic boil for another huge payoff. Haluk Duz and Bayram Balsak return to Spherax under their much loved 21street alias. The Turkish duo has seen their popularity soar over the last year with appearances on top underground labels like: Mistique, Joof, Black Hole, Lowbit and Baroque. Their 'Phaedra' interpretation sees 21street on top form with another club smashing futuristic sounding production. The build during the main drop is absolutely colossal and when the groove comes back in with those ultra processed stabs you're sure to see fireworks on your dance floor. Absolutely massive stuff from 21street! The final remix of 'Phaedra' is provided by the Bulgarian producer Nicox who is making his first appearance on Spherax here. Nicox has provided another very worthy main room remix that comes with killer effects, a stripped but incredibly powerful groove and great synth hooks. The package is closed out with a second original from D-Trax and Wallie entitled 'The Vibe' which is another tough, dynamic production with great techy influences and a massive drop with great vocal elements and a grinding lead synth. Massive!
