KD Music will unveil a sneak preview of Kaiserdiscos eagerly awaited second album, Meet Me On the Floor with a brand new EP out on June 3rd. The New Dimensions EP will feature three tracks taken from the new record, providing a brief insight into what can be expected from Meet Me On the Floor when it finally drops on July 1st.
Meet Me On the Floor is a stripped back and sleek deep house cut. Built around the combination of a highly addictive bassline and strong vocal performance from Navid Izadi, the track is both catchy and dancefloor friendly. Dimensions is a much more ferocious affair, ploughing forward with pace and a dense, weighty bottom end. Get On Down explores a more off-centre aesthetic whilst still making perfect sense on the floor. Its warbling bass plays off clicking percussion to create a sense of building tension that rises throughout.
Returning to the album format on July 1st with a fresh perspective, Meet Me On the Floor sees the Hamburg-based duo deliver a varied but free flowing record that encapsulates their affinity with uninhibited, underground electronic music. Ranging from deep house to groovy techno, stripped back electronica and beyond, the album provides a perfect snapshot of the modern Kaiserdisco sound. Club-ready but peppered with subtle idiosyncrasies that unveil a real depth of personality within their music, their sound is as addictive as it is individual.
