With our 67th release we welcome back Artem Kalalb to 238W with his latest masterpiece the aptly named 'Mabus EP'. Artem who is been causing quite a stir with his tech influenced driving productions. He has released on labels like Particles and Stellar Fountain amongst others, and has gathered massive support from the worlds finest including Sasha, Hot Since '82, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Robert Babicz, Eelke Kleijn, Dale Middlenton, Tim Penner, Sonic Union to BOg.

This release shows Artem's maturity and musical development as we kick off proceedings with a monster of a track called Mabus, a tougher and tech influenced track, interspersing with roomy glowing love and filtered acid stabs, which beautifully leads into the dreamlike drop to round off this brilliant underground crowd pleaser.

D.C.O.U. is next, with its understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along. Artem manages to keep the energy up, subtlety allowing the driving house feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape that come together to form this progressive house gem.

To close out Artem's stunning EP we have the deep, hypnotic and laid back Haarp, which is interspersed with subtle effective percussion a profound deep-chill groove and indie influence, turning this one into a sunset anthem with a very soul tangling appeal. In short, this EP is everything we have come to expect from Artem over his affiliation with 238W as he once more shows his sound remains as fresh, super-charged and relevant as it ever was.
