Meriton hails from Switzerland and releases his first solo EP on Gigolo Records. The young producer is eager to deliver solid connoisseur techno and house music. His previous releases constantly hit an incredibly high mark of quality, which earned him the like of DJ Hell.

All four tracks on Meriton's "Emergence" EP disembogue an unexpected journey through time and space. Let's take "4th Dimension", the first track of the EP, which is a high energetic peak time track with an acid synth line that makes you strive for more - more drum-programming and old school killer grooves remind you of the early Detroit techno flair.

The second track "Axis of Evil" enters the stage with a shuffle-ish hi-hat groove that complements the outstanding bass line splendidly. Angel-like vocal cuts and trippy horns and pads deliver a dark and grungy atmosphere peaking in George W. Bush jr. samples. More quirky pads and an outstanding synth top off the trip through this magnificent deep house track.

Following is a more cheerful track called "Magnetic Propulsion". Warm synthesizers alongside high string notes open the track. Again, exquisitely programmed drums and a stompy groove coalite into a rhythm that gets stuck in your veins and sizzles through your body and brain - u can dance!
Completing this fine four-tracker is "Kraftfeld": drum-madness at its best, with pads, horns and strings that could star in an Ennio Morricone production in any case. Bubbling toms and other diverse percussions appear here and then, making your trip through time and space drawing to a close.
In the hands of the right people, this EP can make every club-setting go mad hard.
