Cyprus based music duo Paul Angelo and Don Argento return to Bonzai Progressive with the brilliant Voyager EP which comes fresh off the back of their debut Ipanema EP back in February 2017. They started writing and playing electronic music as a duo back in 2013 and since then they performed at top electronic music venues in Cyprus and managed to reach the Beatport top 100 with their debut EP, Bromelain. Their music blends elements of Progressive House, Trance and Techno. They have seen support from big electronic artists such as Tim Penner, Capa, Robert R. Hardy, Pete K, Dmitry Molosh, Simos Tagias, Chris Zag, Haris C, Paul Anthonee and many more. Great to this talented team back for more. Voyager delivers a beautifully constructed melodic progressive groove right from the off. Muted kicks are joined by hypnotic keys as a deep droning bass rises up. The kicks are beefed up with nice mid level thump taking the track to the next level. Melodies come fleeting through mesmerizing the senses and locking us in for the duration. An array of intricate patterns converge perfectly to create a blissful experience that is not to be missed. Below Sea Level intros with nice chunky kick drum alongside various percussions that build up a cool rhythmic sequence. Deep basses litter the sound creating anticipation as cosmic synths layer up creating a surreal narrative. The abyss level bass shores up the groove beautifully while the upper sounds take the track galactic. The break is divine as retro styled synths dish out their Jarre-like sound. Top stuff once again from this duo, a must have for sure.
