The team of Matthias Heilbronn and Joeski aka BQE is simply unstoppable. With more than 20 years of experience in dance music, its safe to say that this duo has seen it all. And yet despite their lengthy résumés, Heilbronn and Joeski show no signs of settling down anytime soon. Since hitting the studio together for the first time in May 2009, they have already produced and released eight singles. Coming from totally different spectrums of the music scene, they have been able to enter new territories by flawlessly combining all musical genres they have picked up individually over the years. Matthias Heilbronn, who was born and raised in Germany, grew up, listening to Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream and Front 242, but started to make a name for himself after moving to New York in 89, in the soulful house music scene. He has remixed just about every big name in the industry, from Chaka Khan and Maxwell to Johnny Cash and Lauren Hill, collaborated with legends such as Francois K., Todd Terry and Danny Tenaglia, as well as released songs on some of the most influential labels in dance music. Joeski, born and raised in Queens/New York and coming from a family of Latin musicians quickly made a name for himself in the Rave circuit. He has released tracks on labels like Siesta, Hooj Choon, Ministry Of Sound and Stealth, collaborated with such heavy hitters as DJ Chas, Onionz and John Creamer and remixed the likes of Sneakerpimps, Dajae and Dirty Vegas. "We immediately clicked, first behind the decks, and soon after in the studio. Teaming up allows us to do both in ways we would not individually, each adding our unique qualities to the experience"
