Geena Bess "How hard I search" KULT Records (DMA review from 1995)
An excellent vocal deep house record with integrity and passion! This series of remixes (5) represents the best in house music. Further, the remixes complement each other so well that many will surely want to snag two copies of this record to do their own live remixes, for this is definitely a record that can be worked! I have heard this in the mixes in Chicago, but I can't remember who played it. The remix team consists of Kyle "Small" Smith and James 'Gerald' Smith from Urban Renewal Production: DJ Choco's talents are featured on the fourth track. "Why is it that we search the whole world...For something we can't seem to find?...Could it be, that what we search for is already in our minds?...all my life, I prayed for an answer, but no one seems to hear my pleade"...etc. Excellent!***** (122BPM)
