Slim Blue (Bill Brooks) is no stranger to the breaks scene, his first release was in 2003 on Fusetraxx as one half of the Breaks duo “Entity” (along with Dave Evans).
This was followed by releases on legendary labels Cyberfunk, Funkatech, Pure Filth, and remixes for Total Science, Shodan, Ben & Lex and more.
After Entity, around 2007, Bill went solo as Slim Blue and fired out a string of bassline rollers on Guerilla Tactics, Pure Filth, Bombtraxx and Bassrock.
2020 sees the return of Slim Blue, combining the bassline roller vibe with a newfound big influence from the early 90s rave scene.
Releases on Soundsystem Bassrock, Rocstar and Skanky Panky Records planned for the coming year. We hope you enjoy the tunes. Big up!
