Growing up in Cairns, a small tropical city nestled betweenlush Tropical Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef in theFar North of Australia, for over 10 years now Sammy J has made an impression not only locally but also on the International Music Scene. Locally, Sammy J holds 4 resident DJ spots and plays at major Club Nights with both International& National DJ's. Her djing has often taken her out of the clubs and bars and into the Radio Stations, Class rooms, where she instructed young wana-be Female DJ's, and to djing on the Dreamscape Float for Festival Cairns, which paraded through the city streets in front of 30,000 people.Sammy J's success was topped with an achievement at the Cairns Elec: Tropcia Annual Music Awards in 2004 by winning 3 categories...*
