At the age of eight, Leopold (born in 1997) took his first trumpet lessons. The piano soon followed as his older brother, who was playing too, was an inspiration. Leopold then played the trumpet in many groups like jazz bands or ensembles, getting more and more into all kinds of music. His first relation to electronic music were, when he learned about Cubase at school in grade 5. After his first approach he has developed a passion for electronic music over the following years and had the desire to create his own sound from his experiences. As it became more than just a hobby, he then took lessons in producing and recording music in general in 2012. Learning about the theory he began doing controlling the sound engineering on local events. On the practical side, he started to make music with Ableton Live with nothing but a computer at first. He early found his passion for all kinds of house music. His work that’s not bound to any borders is influenced by other genres, for example co mbining jazz or classic with modern music. When he turned 16 years old, he played his first set in a club (Club Douala, Ravensburg), also including some of his own productions which resulted in a convincing feedback by the crowd. This experience strengthened the will to publish his music and bring it to the people who like it. From now on, Leopold is looking forward to playing new tracks at live shows and trying out new things, by including analog instruments to make his sets special and unique.
