Ever thight label is back folks and it's here to deliver some techno madness!
Serbia's producer and DJ Andrew Meller, who just recently conquered the sets of techno gigants with his bootleg of the famous track Born Slippy, is back on Tauten label for its 29th release.
The Woodman EP consists of four tracks - two originals (Woodman and Return to Sea) and two remixes of Woodman (one by Dave Wincent and the other by Netherlands duo Diction).
Powerful kicks of the first track catch us by surprise taking us on a fast run into the deep forest. Dave Wincent's remix of the Woodman track, which shares the name with the EP, is a good catch for any DJs out there who like to spice up their romantic techno strolls on the dance floor. The promising start continues a bit lighter, as it goes into the original mix Return to Sea. Attempting to take it down a notch, Meller doesn't get far, because the third track of the EP get's on it again. The duo from Netherlands Diction, gave the Woodman original a twisted and more neurotic kind of feel. The first three tracks are followed by original mix Woodman itself, done by Andrew and given as a perfect finish for this musical roller coaster.
We are not sure if he got inspired for this piece of pure madness in the woods, but we are sure as hell you'll love it once you press play. Enjoy!
