The duo Fur Coat - Sergio Muñoz and Israel Sunshine - are one of the most exciting newcomers in the international house scene. After an album for Damian Lazarus British label Crosstown Rebels and an EP for Hot Creations, the two Venezuelans now debut with "The Right Move EP" on BPitch Control. With the title track, the duo proves their talent for producing house tracks with seductive vocals once again. The Right Move first develops a subtle groove that is created by versatile percussion and clean claps. While a melodic synth rises in the background, the captivating voice of dOP member Jonathan Illel aka JAW comes into business. In combination with the subtle bass line and almost whispering vocals a mantra-like prayer raises theres only one way out: hypnosis. "Fading Away" starts with a dry kick drum, which are enriched not only with tasty Hi-Hats. Besides the proper bass inserts, a swoosh pulses up that constructs a wonderful tech house track with rudimentary chords and spiraling synths. No question, the title name fits perfectly dancing while the eyes are closed! The last track Fast Forward again highlights their impressive ability to create for elegant house gems, although the kick-off starts a bit harder. Whether nuances in the background, the thrifty percussion or the sweet-talking chords during the sophisticated climax ultimately, the bloodcurdling bass line will grab your attention. A more than convincing debut from Fur Coat on BPitch Control. Three tracks, three words: Forward Thinking Music.
