After rocking the Lovebox festival with a rare live show, the pioneers of Electronic Music, Groove Armada are back with aplomb. Taking it back it to their old school sound, new single 'Pull Up' feat. Slarta John is an instant House classic; an MC crescendo being superseded by GA's much loved dirty and funky club beats. The single will be available as a digital download from this coming Sunday (5th August). DJ Pete Tong has already named 'Pull Up' as his Essential New Tune, and it's received strong support from other tastemaker DJs including Annie Mac. Released through Hypercolour, 'Pull Up' indulges the UK label in their longstanding passion for raw, interesting electronic House music and sees them continue a successful relationship following GA's first Hypercolour release; the critically acclaimed 'No Knock' EP. The single will also be supported with forthcoming remixes from the label that has established itself as the finest purveyor of House and Techno. Groove Armada take it back to the old school by throwing an all day free beach party 'Rockers Revenge' in Ibiza next Friday 3rd August, before they headline the Radio 1 Ibiza weekend that night. Rockers Revenge will take place on the infamous La Plage on Playa D'en Bossa beach, with support from Huxley and Tim Sweeney. With this and a second EP soon to be announced, Groove Armada are leading the way for the soundtrack to the summer. Remixes come in the form of a stripped back, drum-heavy West Norwood Cassette Library workout, and label head Alex Jones crafts 2 versions that link modern day studio trickery with vintage rave sounds.
