Vapour Recordings returns with the first release of 2010 and this time we start the new year with a new artist to our label in GMJ.

GMJ - Gavin Martin has been mixing deep evolving house & techno for over a decade in Melbourne, interstate & more recently overseas, having played with & supported pretty much everyone in Melbourne in the world of “progressive & house”, from Digweed to Minilogue, Seamen to Son Kite & countless others inbetween. These days he plays as label representative dj for both Open Records, and Vapour Recordings (for Australia), and Green Ant, and he is also busy with his own productions & remixes under FULCRUM / GMJ & SEPHORA.

GMJ has previously featured on Vapour with his remix of Keep Your Nose by dousk, and he's also recently remixed the likes of Fiord, Presslaboys and more. Lets just say he's on the up...

This time we being you a 2 track EP titled New Dawn and Contrivation.

Both tracks are a good blend of deep driving progressive with a traditional deep proggy feel about both of them.

On the remix duties we have Vapour label boss Kasey Taylor, who remixes New Dawn and takes the original mix towards a more underground outdoor festival vibe, while dousk takes on the duties for Contrivation. Needless to say the dousk mix is up there with some of his best remixes and this one is also flat out aimed straight for the festival vibe as well. Both remixes are uplifting and full of power guaranteed to make you shake and want more.

Release Date - 8th March 2010
