DJ Yellows real name Alain Ho has been around for ages. When he met Chris (Bob Sinclar) in the early 90's during a night out, things took a turn. They started their label Yellow Productions in 1993, to critical acclaim. An underground label at first, it was perhaps Yellow's search for personality and his ear for quality that opened the door to a colourful palette of signings, that included artists as diverse as Dimitri From Paris, Kid Loco, Bang Bang, Joe Claussel, Salome de Bahia and of course Bob Sinclar himself, all of which have helped to shape the French sound, as it is today. After a decade of fruitful cooperation and dedication to helping other people's careers, Yellow finally decided to begin Poussez Music in 2003, as an outlet for his own sounds, and that of his close friends, including King Britt, Kenny Larkin, and Josh Wink, amongst others. The label has shone more than ever in 2007. Through three projects, Alienation (instrumental), Intermission (vocals) and Paule (non-dance), Yellow has created a wide canvas to push his diverse sounds and inspirations into the world. After six hypnotizing Alienation releases through Poussez, Yellow completes the series in 2007 with a grand finale through invitations on Plastic City, Josh Wink's respected Ovum Records, the prestigious Morrison Recordings, Slipen Side Records, Ibadan Records and Deep Focus, featuring a special rework from no other than Deep Dish's Dubfire.
Montreal's Flowers And Sea Creatures have been building a formidable reputation since their debut EP 'Test Pressing' in September 2010. Together with the follow-up 'A.M' in Feb 2011 and their full release album in 2011, they have been turning some serious heads in both the electronic underground and the alt-rock overground. They deliver a deeply atmospheric and cinematic sound - Graham Baxter's vocals and crystalline acoustic guitars riding over Kosta Megalos' atmospheric synth work.Baxter was born in Belfast and Megalos was born in Athens and both immigrated to Montreal with their respective families in their youth. The two met in the 1990s and they started writing together and playing the local bar scene while always working away at writing their blend of acoustic and electronic original music.Record deals nearly came and mostly went and it was in the early 2000s that the duo began in earnest writing the exploratory music that would become Flowers And Sea Creatures staple. Baxter had decided drop the vocals in favour of their new instrumental direction. Ironically however, it was an instrumental track that caught the ear of Buzzin' Fly label boss, Ben Watt but Watt, although impressed with the music, thought the track needed a vocal. Ultimately Baxter sang on the track leading to their signing with BuzzinFly.To date the duo have collaborated with Ewan Pearson, Fred Everything, The Revenge and Ytre Rymden Dansskola. Inspirations include Chet Baker, Bowie, Bjørk, Everything But The Girl, Giorgio Moroder, The Art of Noise, Kraftwerk, The Cure.

Born in late '70s, Simon Garcia grew up listening legendary bands such as Depeche Mode, New Order or Kraftwerk, but also enjoying genres like Blaxploited Funk, Latin-Rock, Rare Disco, '90s House or Acid-Jazz, among many other things. A musical bagage that later would found an artistic point in common on himself.Nowadays, Simon has seen his works released on labels such as Poker Flat, Supplement Facts, Perspectiv, Dieb Audio, OM Records, Cecille, or Composite among other high-profile labels, either with his real name or his aliases Kornelius or Larakki, releasing original tracks or remixing for the likes of DJ Yellow, Sasse, Matthias Vogt (from Motorcitysoul), Lee Burrdige, Tomoki Tamura, Wagon Cookin' and others. A kind of sound that led him to get invited from the world's leading sound-designing brand Loopmasters to join their prestigious Artist Series collection. The library got an extraordinary response, and in soon he will start his very own collection 'Simon Garcia's Hypnotic Vibes'.2013 looks definitely bright for Simon: remixes on labels like AMAM, Surface or Catz 'N Dogz's Pets Recordings, from where he will also release a new original one included on the 'Friends Will Carry You Home Too' alongside Eats Everything, Till Von Sein, Dave Aju, El_Txef_A or Catz 'N Dogz themselves. Israeli producer Guy J has established himself as one of the most sophisticated and emotive producers in electronic music of the last decade, with a body of work and a sphere of influence that belies relatively short time in the spotlight. Whether it be his sensual, hypnotic take on house music, his deeply textured techno or his wondrous ambient material, his work is always touched with a magic and emotion that few rival. Guy started producing at the age of 14, his first release came at the age of 21, but it was his 2007s gem Save Me that proved to be his real launchpad. John Digweed snapped up the glistening, dramatic slice of deeper house music up for his legendary Bedrock Records, setting in motion a chain of events that would change his life forever. His debut album Esperanza gained plaudits in 2008 with its classy, ethereal blend of progressive house, techno, electro and electronica, while the follow-up 1000 Words went deeper still over two discs of expansive soundscapes and intricate dancefloor explorations. Never one to be pigeonholed, his portfolio is a diverse beast, with releases finding their way onto Tigas increasingly eclectic Turbo imprint amongst others. To feature on two labels that are essentially synonymous with two very different scenes is testament to his versatility, and above all, the quality and conviction of his productions. 2012 sees Guy kick off an exciting new project with his close colleagues and friends at Bedrock: his very own imprint Lost & Found, a sub-label for John Digweeds long running mothership where hell release music by himself and his favourite producers. Then theres the small matter of a release on Cocoon, one of the most highly regarded labels in techno and beyond, and some exciting collaborations in the pipeline with some other inspiring artists. As always with this unique talent, its quality, not quantity. Each of his releases is met with a swell of anticipation, and for once in this often over-hyped world, its fully justified.
Tiago Fragateiro started his career 15 years ago, as manager and music director in the best clubs in Porto, always promoting and pushing the upcoming fresh, national and international, artists. He jumped to the booth around the year 1998, but took it more seriously like 5 or 6 years ago, when begun to be requested for the best portuguese clubs. Next step, and the most important one, was the professional connection with his "old" friend Alain Ho, also known as DJ
Yellow, when the idea of working together as Mindz Kontrol Ultra came up. This fusion with his number one reference in music, helped push things in a deeper, minimal and stripped back classic house direction in a proper clubbing way. Composite Records was next! Alain and Tiago's young label, Composite Records, became the platform of their work and where you can find the fusion of the experience and knowledge like King Britt, Dubfire or Djul'z, with the fresh blood, full of healthy irreverence as Till Von Sein, Varoslav, James Teej, Daniel Kyo, Simon Garcia or Alex James. After the first release at Dieb Audio, Tiago released (also as MKU) his next 3 Eps at Composite, but soon capture the attention of other labels like Ovum Recordings, Freerange Records and Plastic City (album). In that hot summer of 2009, he got "Fubu" from his 4 released, featured at the 10 Years Cocoon Ibiza compilation, for Cocoon Records, by invitation of Locodice, "Sleep with me" (Josh Wink Edit) at Space Ibiza Compilation for Cr2 Records and "Space soon to vanish" for Global Underground, just to name a few.End of September 2010 is time to receive Tiago's solo debut Ep "Face" (Composite), with remixes of My Favorite Robot and Michael J Collins, greatly supported by James Teej, Manik, Art Department, Phonogenic, Till Von Sein, Roland Appel, Roberto Rodriguez and many others...Tiago's second solo work called "Lovefool", alongside Tracey K with remixes of Alain Ho and Jay Shepheard comes around June, ready to be one of summer anthems, and reaching 40th position at Beatport's Deep House 100 Chart. A couple of months later and his last release, "Special", a track build with Dj Yellow and vocals by Tracey K, featured at Composite's VA Compilation, got huge support around the world as Maya Jane Coles, Steve Bug, Cera Alba, Guy J, Chez Damier among many others and reaching top 13 of Beatport's Deep House Chart. More to come soon.
