Hector Romero and Satoshi Tomiie's SAW Recordings imprint returns with their first release for 2010, and its a much welcomed return for Satoshi under his alter ego MES.

Satoshi Tomiie and his productions have always stood the test of time. His classics 'Tears' and 'Love In Traffic' sound as fresh today as their first outing and more recent releases such as 2007's 'Glow' and 08's 'Solar Wind' still receive huge support on the world's finest floors.

Earlier this year we were introduced to MES through the wonderful 'Madrugada'. It beauty was backed brilliantly by the remixes of Toby Tobias. Today we bring you the follow up, 'Back To Basics'. This time with a host of mixes from Frankfurt duo Motorcity Soul.

The 'Back To Basic's original see's MES dropping a live 'slap' bassline with an electronic shadow that growls and grooves its way throughout the track. Rhode stabs break the hypnotic flow, and the female story teller enters along with a sparkling key melody.

Matthias Vogt and C-Rock deliver not one, but three different takes on the original. First up is the 'Motorcity Soul Remix', which takes us back to the Rave with its ever increasing synth stabs. Their 'Wildpitch Remix' is stripped back to the bone. Vast expanses, married with emptiness and sharp synth stabs. Finally we have their 'Basic Mix' which see's the Rave stabs of their original Remix have a more laid-back feel, and partner up with some solid housey percussion.

Overall another classic Tomiie production and a strong addition to the SAW Recordings catalogue. 'Back To Basics' is set to ignite the floors of 2010.
