Ed Unger has been driven by his passion for music, creativity and business. It all began at age 11 with the saxophone, an acoustic guitar and a life changing trip to Australia at age 16. By high school, he had been writing songs, playing guitar, bass and singing with bands. His influences ranged from obscure local rock, punk, industrial and attending raves in the mid 90’s while exploring solo music production, programming drum machines and bass lines to play guitar and sing at clubs and coffee houses. As a St. Louis native, Ed relocated to Atlanta, hoping to find a new musical home as well as lucrative employment. Instead, Ed was burglarized losing $6,500 worth of equipment and then worked two jobs for 6 months to rebuild his studio. He then studied all aspects of music and read 50+ books which led to the creation of Blue Sound Studios. Ed opened the studio to the public in Atlanta, hosted free songwriting workshops, offered in studio classroom style training and partnered with a friend on an idea to sell sounds on ebay. A year later he quit his day job and entered the world of internet marketing, eCommerce business and SEO before those terms became every day knowledge. The increased demand and popularity of the training grew into the Computer Music Production School. After relocating to Miami, Ed then took time out from his solo work and focused on the Computer Music Production School (www.computerproducer.com) helping students learn music production, with the GotchaNoddin (www.gotchanoddin.com) sample library business, recording UngerRose Music (www.ungerrose.com) after traveling through London, Amsterdam, Paris and as a panelist at the Winter Music Conference in Miami (www.wintermusicconference.com).Ed has worked out of Atlanta and Miami with clients based in New York, California, Atlanta, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, France, London, China, Ghana, Germany, Bermuda, Norway, Japan, Taiwan.Currently, Ed Unger is working on new remixes, music productions and acoustic guitar / vocal solo material.
