Derek Christopher

Born in 80's Miami, to a family of musicians, Derek grew up on Freestyle Bass and Classic House. Sometime in the late 90's he discovered Trance & Progressive, and the journey began. Without any specific goals or targets, he took his love for music and began to DJ around Miami, and eventually found himself in Los Angeles. It was in LA that Derek began producing music under a few aliases, creating mostly Bass & Hip-Hop centric music. After moving back to Florida, the familiar surroundings once again sparked the passion for Trance and Progressive, and the journey continued. Today, he consistently releases emotional, evolving, intelligent dance music on labels like 3rd Avenue, Eclipse, ClubHaus, & L O S T. You'll find his sound to be rich, lush, layered, and intentional.
