Berlanga was born and raised in Ciudad Victoria, in the north of Mexico. Influenced by artists like Dubfire, Ron Costa and Carlo Lio, he has found a unique style, fresh and dance-floor oriented.
He has published amazing music on labels like Pursuit, Phobos, Potobolo, Transmit, etc. Raúl makes his SOE debut with an incredible EP that wraps his sound and intention.
"Xolo" is serious, driving and hypnotic. A tunnel made of sounds, perfectly crafted to detonate any kind of speakers. "Arctos" is just as powerful, but the hypnosis goes into a different direction, a very special atmosphere is created here.
Montenegro remixed "Xolo" and made a great rework from the original. A techier version that remains dark but flows in a funky way. Henek remixed "Arctos",he printed his groovy style and delivered an amazing work, perfect for the dance-floor. Enjoy our 102nd release!
