Emerging from the thriving London drum and bass scene with his full-spectrum sound, Whychek is quickly making a name for himself. The past few years have seen a slew of releases which have garnered exponential support from prominent industry taste-makers.
Since 2017, he has been releasing music on labels including The Dreamers and Peer Pressure, gaining support from, amongst others - Andy C, Logistics, Makoto, Taelimb and Conscience, HLZ, Sweetpea, Shyun, Dexcell and contributing features to BBC Radio One, DNB Arena, Skankandbass and the Hospital Podcast.
Spring 2020 saw him arrive on Rebel Music with his ‘Blade’ EP after his contribution to the ‘Rebel One’ compilation was supported by Rene La Vice on his BBC Radio One show.
With classical training to grade 8 level in both Piano and Drums and ten years of touring as a professional drummer in his arsenal, he has an eclectic and extensive musical taste, reected in his ever-changing and evolving sound. Receiving one-to-one training from some of the industry’s pioneers including Reso, Survival, Xtrah and Philth has underlined his statement of intent. One to watch.
