Mike Swells

Mike Swells is a Boston-born, Brooklyn-based electronic music artist. Two+ decades since buying his first pair of turntables, he’s what we call a lifer. He’s shared the decks with a lengthy list of legends, new jacks, and party rockers alike at clubs and festivals across North and South America. Known for his versatility and fluidity, unbound by genre or tempo, time and place define his sound. Sometimes warm and organic, others furious or alien, it’s all part of an unpredictable musical mosaic that inspires introspection and elicits emotion. Mike first established himself at New England raves and Phish shows in the 90s and early 2000s. He then built a name for himself playing, booking, and ultimately running RISE after-hours in Boston.
