    Mechanist is the musical project of UK sound innovator andproducer Bill Bass. Originally using Mechanist as a name toaffix to his workings with ambient and glitch sounds, it soonbecame the perfect guise for all his music which becameincreasingly fixated upon repetition and atmospherictextures. Signed to the Substream Music Group's labelsMareld and IIVII, both of which showcase Mechanist's dubtechno and ambient inspired sounds via his various EPsand his album 'The Wretched'.
