Singer. Songwriter. Club DJ and founding member of Montreal-based deep house/electronic trio, Flowers And Sea Creatures.
As a vocalist and songwriter, Graham Baxter’s musical career began in earnest when discovered by industry legend Ben Watt (Buzzin’ Fly Records; Everything But the Girl), who, upon hearing an unsolicited demo, signed the Montreal duo to a record deal in 2011. Receiving critical acclaim, the duo’s debut album featured collaborations with Ewan Pearson, The Revenge, Fred Everything, with subsequent singles, collaborations and remixes with/by: Dave Seaman, Zoo Brazil, Stereocalypse, Henry Saiz, Mano Le Tough, Konstantin Sibold, EEKKOO, Tone Depth, with releases on Innervisions, Selador, Fryhide, Compost Records, Atlant, Natura Sonoris, Lossless, and Montreal’s Strange Town Recordings.
With a desire of exploring new musical genres and vocal textures, while continuing with Flowers And Sea Creatures, Baxter released his first solo effort on Get Physical Records in January 2019, the tech-house track “Sloughing”, with Abyss (Giuseppe Morabito).
