For their penultimate release of the year Toolroom welcome yet another label debutant, this time in the form of Italian tech maestro, Uto Karem. What Uto has created here truly is something special. The result of re-creating those lead synth elements from the classic Octave One Blackwater track and layering them over the top of a low-slung and dirty tech house groove is just incredible. With the insatiable BPM Festival in Mexico just around the corner, this certainly looks set to become an underground anthem and provide the sound-track to those sun drenched pool parties.
As if the original wasnt exciting enough, Ninetoes is drafted in on remix duties, also debuting on the label, and he manages to take the track to a whole new level by using tougher drums and a hypnotic, techno driven bass line. This version definitely lends itself more to the club dance floors making this the perfect package and another aspirational string to Toolrooms musical bow of 2015.
