DJ and producer Kush returns to Bonzai Progressive with the impeccable Trigger. Kush was interested and passionate about music since his early childhood. He started to learn the basics of music using a keyboard at the age of 5. Growing up, he discovered the possibility of making music using computers and grabbed the opportunity to develop his skills and talents to produce electronic music. He was also part of a local rock band as a keyboardist. He is into many different genres of music, Techno, Tech-House, Minimal, Deep House, Jazz, Rock and Metal, to name a few. His electronic music inspirations and selections are rooted in groovy beats, heavy bass lines, emotive chords, dark synths, percussive, melodic and old school soundscapes. In recent times he has delivered quality cuts for many labels. In 2016 he debuted on Bonzai Progressive with the superb Substance Abuse.
Trigger intros with a nice pounding kick drum alongside crispy hi hats and some cool percussion patterns that get the rhythm moving smoothly. A throbbing, pulsing deep low end bassline weaves its way through the track becoming infectious to the mind. Some seriously clever play with the drums and percussions creates stunning textures in the sound against a backdrop of a mesmerizing pad. Definitely a must have track for late night prog sessions.
Winter Sky goes straight for the jugular right from the get go. A solid groove rises instantly out of a punchy kick drum and deep rolling bassline combi. Percussions slowly find their way in generating a fine flowing rhythm out of some interesting patterns. A hypnotic pad rises and forms the seed that will blossom into a full on sublime progressive house workout courtesy of a superb display of synths. Top notch stuff indeed you will not want to miss.
