We're very honoured to welcome the Cologne-based producers HADE + Gutta to the Local Talk family. Besides making super awesome music that caught our attention they duo also share a borderline-obsessive interest in vintage sneakers, Ninja Turtles, Atari ST1040 and related plastic stuff from the 80s. HADE + GUTTA are basically from the same neighbourhood, both have been spinning records together at several rap-concerts without even knowing back then - almost 10 years later they're doing the same thing only B2B and as part of the Sneaker Freaker Soundsystem. GUTTA is a bon vivant and a Cologne authority for bass music and house. Coming from djing for rap-crews and on jams and back when Ed Banger and nu rave was king, HADE was big in BeNeLux with his former band Ampersand (now HADE + DWFL). Together with HADE, GUTTA contributed the track "Rollin" to the HADE + DFWL debut album "The Healthiest Man In Chicago". Their debut relealse marks a further development of the Local Talk sound, balancing between house & bass. The EP kicks off with "Nothing Wrong", a track built around a bouncy bass riff that lingers and weaves around a clever vocal splicing. "In Me" continues where "Nothig Wrong" left off but adds more deep deph and ingenious stabs, it's a 100%% bouncing track for sure. Ending the EP is HADE's solo number "Baphome". A bass fuelled floor packer with nicely interwoven synths and a hypnotic house groove that remains present throughout the track. in conclusion - A garage-esq belter with the right amout of wobbly bass to satisfy all your dj & dance floor needs.
