The Dutch prime-time minimal label presents its fourth instalment. Run by Boris Ross the label created quite a stir with its first couple of releases. We received loads of positive reactions from many of todays key minimal players. With a naughty trip to the funky side of techno on the 2nd release, the third and this fourth outing are aimed at the true fans of micro-biotic techno. Frizz is known from the 2nd Luxaflex 12 inch which was released in October of this year. Their tune received massive credit in the club scene with its highly recognisable riddim. Now they aim at the darker side of minimal. You will find yourself slightly confused because of a twisted wobbly bassline which seems to have a mind of its own, followed by a proper breakdown! On the B-side Luxaflex presents a new kid on the block. This very persistent upcoming producer dropped these two track at the labels head office some time ago. It was lost for some time, but when it was recovered it had the effects of a quality wine. With the minimal scene growing in force, these tracks just had to be pressed on vinyl. Whilst the horizons of todays techno culture are expanding, there is room for a new breed of producers like this Macedonian minimal master!
