For our next Figure installment its a Scottish double bill as Edit-Select goes head to head with Gary Beck in a dual of momentous (and dare we say Figure worthy) proportions!

Deposer, the intense bass driven builder from Edit-Select, is just the sort of big-room killer that weve grown accustomed to hearing this year on Figure. Having established quite a name for himself of late, and following up an exclusive cut on Len Fakis Ostgut Ton mix, Edit-Selects cut feels right at home in the throbbing bass-addicts playground of clubs like Berghain. Its a tough, pacy tool whose insane sub-energy hardly ever lets up over nearly eight minutes of pure contemporary minimal techno.

Promising young Scottsman Gary Beck tribalises the mood then somewhat, with his powerful take on the modern club sound. Yah Yah builds carefully and reliably into a hypnotic ethno-techno journey track, smashing and climbing through Becks wonderful arrangement.

To keep the madness flowing, two digital exclusive tracks are also included. Edit-Selects Bagan pumps things maximal with a searing and soaring flash through pure peak time. An essential Dj tool, quality is certainly not compromised here!

Finally Gary Becks Limehouse, a tweaking, freaking acidic monster completes the digital bonuses. Once again its a quality assured monster, perhaps also offering crossover potential with some of the more daring house DJs with its nod to classic acid formulas.
