Russell Zuma

Nkosikhona Russell Zuma, known as Russell Zuma, is a South African Singer & Songwriter. Born and raised in Durban, KZN. He began his musical career by being a back up singer for Lucky Mngadi (Lucky & Friends Gospel Choir) & went on to further his musical knowledge at Bet Centre under the tutelage of Xolisa Dlamini (Vocals), Sfaniso Bophela (Music business) & the late Theo Bophela (Music Theory). He was later chosen to be the lead vocalist for BET Centre school band, performing at places such as Playhouse & DUT. Russell Zuma was introduced to house music by his childhood friend and business partner Mzamo (Mzet) Ndaba who was a DJ at that time. He then went on to make a song with DJ Museri "iinkomo" which later caught the
