Cesar Campana a.k.a. Bolivard was born in Puerto Vallarta (Mexico) but grew up in Megève (France). During high school, he first played guitar in several grunge and bossa nova bands. Then he studied musical geometry and military history in college and played triangle with contemporary music orchestra of Wesleyan University on an Erasmus year in Middletown (United States).He discovered electronic music through the works of Powerplant (Kraftwerk and Steve Reich) and french touch. He composed about a hundred tracks of electronic music before dying from a motorcycle accident in 2011. His brother decided to make release the best of his music posthumously.
