The beauty and the history of Greece is a wonderful source of inspiration to many artists, and it should be no suprise that Steve Mill, a very prominent producer and DJ in his mid-twenties, should draw on his surroudings to provide engaging melodies through his productions which have already been praised and played by a wide range of reknown DJs such as John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Ben Watt, The Timewriter and Laurent Garnier.Steve was born in Thessalonki, where he grew up listening to the local radio purging an early interest for music. Although his family has had no connections with the music world, he nonetheless defined a particular taste in electronic music at the age of 15. With pillars such as Armand Van Helden, Daft Punk and David Morales -he set out to learn the tricks of turntablism and gained many local residencies .Having acquired sufficient knowledge from djing, his interest for music evolved into experimenting with sounds at the age of 17. But it is not until he reached 20 that he mastered a production diverging between deep, techno and progressive beats, eventually leading him to break through when Hernan Cattaneo featured his cut “Lia” on Sequential vol.2, as well as releasing Bright Side,China Story and Alpha EP’s on the world wide renown Urban Torque Recordings. Thanks to this positive outcome, Steve has been relentlessly producing and remixing, releasing on many famous labels including Global Underground, Elevation, Plastic City, Vapour, MadHouse, Balance and many more. It has also peeked his djing career and he is rapidly being booked around the world.Steve Mill embraces success at an early age by providing genuine music filled with inspirational beats and energy withholding an electric poesy bound to entertain world wide dance floors. Yet, Steve finds in this success a challenge he chooses for his career – simply focusing on expressing his feelings through his productions so that listeners may find worth and understanding in his music..
