DescriptionDale T is a new innovator of deep, minimal, and trippy tech-house. The music that he creates has really impressed Tulipa boss Summer (Brendon Collins) and Dale's well-defined sound fits perfectly alongside the label's unique direction within the world of electronic music. Soul Flight is an instant classic; this is a release well-suited for the scarlet sounds of the house spectrum.
Dale's original mix of Soul Flight is moody, unsettling, and gorgeously focuses on the utilization of haunting vocals eased over plated grooves. Piano strikes quiver and bounce in the background, drawing subtle influence from modern dub techno debauchery. The original mix still remains heavily rooted in hypnotic house, and Rene Breitbarth continues in this direction with a superbly warped and melodic remix of Soul Flight. Rene introduces keys that bend and waver like candles flickering on a dark summer night. He slows the track down but still allows the elements to draw in raw, straightforward energy. Yapacc brings Soul Flight home with a remix enveloped in a bouncing bass line perfect for dancing barefoot on spooky beaches. He reconstructs the tune into a pulsating seance of energy and delight. Concluding the EP is Eleven, which is a dainty and lighthearted piece of minimal house excellent for lightening the mood and ending this journey.
Tulipa Recordings has added another groundbreaking EP to the library. Soul Flight shimmers in the sunlight with spacey luminosity. Each song included here is a triumph of musicianship and Soul Flight demonstrates that Dale T is an talented producer worthy of gaining recognition within the world of techno and house. He is another artist that helps define the mission of the label and its sound.
