  • Release Date 2007-03-07
  • Label Eklo
  • Catalog EKLO001
The first Eklo release comes from Lauhaus. Dutch artist, wellknown under his other project Polder with his friend David Labeij on Intacto records, and Remota Area, on which he just released an ep with Boris Werner. He has almost played in every big clubs and events in Holland, and he is also the co-founder of Traffic and Mono events, where lots of big names have been playing…….
His debut Solo ep on Eklo "Shake it like a Yorkie", is somekind of a techno groovy and shaky spacy cut…with dark rolling basses and subtil melodies. A track with a killer hook which will burn down the dance floor for sure at peaky time!! Already played by Troy Pierce and Magda…
It comes on A2 with a magic Hearthrob aka Jesse Siminsky's remix. The wellknown Minus artist brings us a killer interpretation of the track. He brings us a shaky techno smasher, melodic with Chicago influences, but always in the futuristic and personal Hearthrob's style!!! He uses the melody his own way and make it perfect for the floor!!!
On top of that, the whole B side, is covered by a Jorge Savoretti remix. After his great success with his Esperanza solo and split ep, or his crazy remix he did for Barem on Unfoundsound; Jorge sends us to a long and epic trip through his mind!!! Rolling basses, weird and trippy fx sounds, and fat base, he delivers us a 9 minutes minimal techno bomb who could burn down the floor for peak time or afterhours…
