Things start off with Montrealer Guillaume and the Coutu Dumonts and his percussive rendition of the Hive (nothing to hide) Taking the original deep house track of Derrick Carter and Chris Nazucka influence and turning it up a notch with GCDs signature percussive style and melodic movement.
Legendary West coast producer and remixer John Tejada tells his futuristic Detroit Electro version of seven x seven taking your memories of Takeshi Nishimotos dreamy guitar down future street with its intricate blend of arpegiated sequences and synthetic percussion reminiscent of Detroit electros high times in the early 90s.
Danuel Tate better known for his production and key board talents with Cobble Stone Jazz steps up to show that there is much more to this producer than meets the eye. Danuel tells his tale of New Shade of Blue with a broken, synthetic riddle that defies genre. Layers of the processed original interlaced with Tates own brand of synthetic alchemy. Perhaps the most interesting element of this remix is Blue Fields singer Fadilas vocal playing off of Danuels own Vocoder styling in a beck and call fashion.
