Futura drops its 5th release with Leon's imprint delivering an essential EP from Alessio Viggiano which features remixes by Youandewan and Sakro.

Alessio Viggiano has been rising through the ranks of the minimal deep tech scene for many years now, providing must have releases and remix on highly regarded underground imprints such as PIV, Politics Of Dancing, and Beste Modus, and in 2019 he launched his own vinyl only imprint Meslow with Akyra. The label has gone on to be supported by Apollonia, Arapu, Raresh, Herodot, Andrei Pushkarev, Sit, Enzo Siragusa and more.

Foir his debut release on Futura, he drops 2 originals the first of which is Flowerchild. A smooth, light, bouncing yet edgy groove, with delectable swirling atmospherics, well worked cut up vocals deliver a superb debut on the label. The second original is, LFO is the KEY, which, as the title suggests, uses Low frequency oscillators to create a chunky subbier track yet retaining Viggiano's trademark bounce in its groove to keep things uplifting. This is a great track to go with Flowerchild.

Next up are the remixes and the first remix comes from Youandewan. A producer well known from his productions on AUS Music, Hypercolour, K7 and many more of the scene's finest labels over the last 12 years. For his remix of Flowerchild, he gives this a quality twist, using more straight up house beats, changing the bassline yet retaining a bouncing groove, and using acid melodies as the track progresses. This is a very classy underground remix.

Last yet not least, Mexico's Sakro delivers his Deepverse remix of Flowerchild. This has an old school flavour right from the off, and feels reminiscent of releases from people like Jovonn or Demarkus Lewis. With driving beats and a hypnotic journey arrangement this adds the perfect final remix to what is an incredibly strong package proving that Leon's Futura imprint is one to watch.
