The Swiss/Argentinean label Darek Recordings finally presents its sixth reference. This time we’re introducing a sweet and talented young lady who was remixed by Mathew Jonson in 2007. Her name is Karmina and she delivered two smashing powerful tracks and yet very feminine, the perfect mixture for the end of this year. Something warm for the cold Winter days.

Karmina loves to say that there’s no life without music, and that’s why she worked really hard to present these new melodies that explore House and Techno with a very personal and delicate touch. This EP is nicely balanced and offers many different styles and influences. Both original tracks are joyful, punchy; it’s like feeling many emotions at the same time.

Jandroide aka Alejandro Lopez and our buddy Mike Wall are in charge of the remixes and they both made excellent interpretations and gave another vision of these tracks.

The original of Farfella offers floating hypnotic melodies and pumping beats, the perfect atmosphere for a sensual warm up. It’s an explosive mixture of sensuality and reminds you of butterflies flying in all senses with a sense of freedom and happiness.

Late Night Original as its title indicates is a more dance floor orientated track and has some kick ass sounds and a really interesting bass line. This one really rocks without having a typical structure; it’s a direct invitation to dance surrounded by sweaty club walls.

The other interpretation of Farfella delivered by Jandroide (Soma) is more housy and of astonishing quality. It has this sort of Balearic influence and gives you a smooth, positive feeling. Just picture yourself a nice cocktail in your hand; standing on the shore of the sea, suddenly a fresh breeze of air goes though your hair…. That’s how this one feels!

Mike Wall on the other hand remixed Late Night and he clearly left his special touch on this one. It’s a crazy, strong bomb. It has a different base, totally out of the ordinary and is more Techno orientated then all the other tracks. You’ll love shaking your hips to this one.

That’s all for now, and don’t forget to watch out for our next killer tracks!
