The best comes at the end, as the saying goes... For the grand final of the recent open air season Acker Records hits the dance floors with yet another dose of sheer summer euphoria. Warm tone colours, vivid rhythms and a proper pinch of hit potential vibrate from the grooves of this vinyl by Dole & Kom. Striking up a serenade on their "Quetschkommode", their accordion, they are obviously inspired by the melodies of South America, complemented by dynamic rhythms from this region. "Home" takes off very minimal, but it is growing bigger and bigger with every beat. A classic filter modulation gives rise to more and more layers of melody... and suddenly the listener finds himself in the middle of a catchy House groove- without having any idea how he arrived there. The flipside is dedicated to Mollono.Bass. Employing his jiggling offbeat boost and sparking hi-hat cascades, he drives the distinct Latino-euphoria of "Quetschkommode" through dubby echo chambers.
