Friends for almost a decade, Oona Dahl and Amber Cox have always surrounded themselves with creative energy. Meeting briefly in college and then running into each other out in the underground, they started their endeavor as best friends and business partners. Originally based out of Tampa, the Florida nightlife and their mutual passion for electronic music inspired the two to come together as one back in 2009 to form a production and performance duo. The past year they have been machines, working on transcending their own dreamlike world to form Slumber. Over the past year Slumber has been on a tear releasing EPs on imprints like Better on Foot, Bad Animal and Yuma Recordings. This 4 track EP is a great addition to their sound and discography. We look forward to hearing more from them in the future.
