Rural Sounds Records presents: Gandini's "Ego Remixes", following the album which was released on the label earlier on 2016. This large EP contains seven tracks consisting of two radio edits, four remixes and a rework by an all star Argentinian cast that include, Gandini, Rollers For Pandas, Bs. As. Deep, Sound Process, Sánchez Gonzalo and Jonas De Narváez, Valdovinos and Crudito.
➢ The EP begins with a remix of "Ego", by Bs. As. Deep (Onward, Mindtrip). His version of this track is a little deeper, whilst staying true to the original. Fun reverbering house stabs are the stars of the show, really bringing this track to life, amplifying a solid groove.
➢ "Answer the Man Question" by Sound Process (Cajual, Voltaire) bares a lot of similar traits to the original. However, the bottom end is deeper and some percussion changes have added a fresh sound to an already great track.
➢ Next is "Zed" by Sánchez Gonzalo and Jonas De Narváez (Rough, Kaleido). Their edition of this track is a harder hitting Tech-House version, providing a solid bass-line and clean prominent percussion, whilst still using the quirky sounds and vibes of the original one.
➢ "Big Mouth feat. Rollers For Pandas" by Valdovinos (Suara, Stripped) is deeper, slower and more progressive, This remix carries a totally different feel and sound to not only the original track but also the rest of the EP. Great vocal work in this one pay homage to the original.
➢ A rework of "Ego" by Crudito is the fifth track. This version is a lot more minimal, whilst still maintaining many of the sounds and features from the original. The theme of this track is a lot more underground and subtle.
➢ The last two tracks on the EP are originals that have been shortened into radio edits. First, Gandini's "Ego" and, second and last track on the EP, "Big Mouth feat. Roller For Pandas". Rolling For Pandas is a joint collaboration with Argentinian producer Facundo Mohrr (Suara, Sudbeat).
