As a longtime listener & lover of breaks, house & trance music, I started gravitating to the scene in Tampa Florida, around 1994. Originally from Trenton, New Jersey, my family moved down to Tampa, FL when I was ~13. After high school my interest in EDM began. I eventually started spinning and I enjoyed it for many years through 2007, but at some point "life" took over and things changed. I drifted far from the music and from many things. PhoenixRising came into existence as a reminder to me, and to anyone, that you can come back from anything. For me, it was through faith, determination and perseverance…plus a lot of patience.
