While raised in Menlo Park, California, Brandon A. Godfrey's musical aptitude became an influential tailgate to 80's Jazz and experimental electronic genres. His music endeavors in electronic sound production began with Art of Noise, DJ Shadow, Paul van Dyk, and Photek--these musicians' winsome efforts in music later ignited Brandon toward performing live, as a deejay."I absolutely love mixing music; it has become a growing thrill. Each venue presents a different vibe and a unique experience. One significant and enthralling aspect about being a deejay is that in each performance entails an experience anew. This is my honest passion."In late 2001, Brandon invited the deejay art to production. In early 2002, he began mixing varied electronic music genres in local party, concert, and club events throughout Northwest America. From minimal sounds to Drum & Bass, his atmospheric, intelligent, and melodic theme remained similar across electronic sub genres."Witnessing others feel what I feel and play what I make is exhilarating."As a music producer, Brandon focuses on transforming electronic progressive genres. Deeply immersed in percussive and big drum sounds, he coalesces intelligent drum & bass, progressive tech-trance, and house elements. As a deejay, he envisions maintaining a consistent direction in experimental electronic music and a production piece in live performance.
