I am Simone Calestani, aka Alan Kale, I am 18 years old and I come from Pavia, Italy. I currently attend the fifth scientific high
school, the last year. After school I would like to dedicate my life only to music. Next year I would like to enroll at the university
and in particular at the faculty of sound engineering at the University of Milan. I started getting passionate about music 4 years
ago. Music had become my release valve following two hospitalizations for anorexia, having first diagnosed diabetes and then
celiac disease. In short, I did not want to eat and the music helped me a lot to get out of that “nightmare”. I started being a DJ,
simply doing live direct on Instagram, playing music from my pc. Later I bought my first console, I remember it was a pìoneer rb.
After several quarrels with my parents, I convinced them to enroll me at the school for DJs in Milan. After school I bought the
pioneer xdj rr, the console I currently use. Two years ago I started my work with two web radios as a DJ and speaker and in the
end I landed on a local Sardinian radio that broadcasts in FM: radiocarbonia. Currently I carry out my DJ program on this radio
station from Monday to Friday from 3 to 3:30 pm, playing the great dance hits of the new millennium. I worked in a couple of
clubs before the covid, but I hope to return when things are settled.
At the same time as a DJ, I started producing about a year ago and now I can't wait to entertain people and communicate
something to this world with my music. I think that if I didn't die 8 years ago, following the diagnosis of diabetes and being
admitted to intensive care, it means that I still have a lot to give in this world,
good listening to all.
